Agroforestry i Nyland: Agroforestry Farmers and their Farms Conference
Welcome to the Agroforestry in Nyland project’s conference especially for farmers!
- When? Thursday, December 10th, 2026. 9:00 – 15:30. Full program below.
- Where? Novia’s campus in Tammisaari – Raseborgsvägen 11, Ekenäs. Room C283.
The day has been planned to showcase the hard work that all of our farmers put into developing their agroforestry planning skills over the past three years. Instead of a day full of carefully curated slide shows, we have opted to plan for one-on-one and small group conversation between project staff and the farmers. In addition, we are keen to see the connections you all have established with one another continue into the future, so we have set aside time for interactive planning sessions to help you do that.
Finally, the project manager will present findings from the site at Lill-Nägels, paying particular attention to the nexus of soil and plant health through a deep dive on changing fertility programs in a polyculture plus practical considerations for future agroforestry plantings.
